Breakfast! I took today off, so I figure that’s as good a reason as any to eat cupcakes for breakfast.
Also I feel like I should subtitle this tumblr “A journal of my unhealthy eating habits.”

I’m now done 13 of the things from my 26 things before 26 list! I might actually make it since I still have six months until I turn 26!
Here’s the one I just did: 15. officially own pamplemoussi.com. It now hosts my wordpress blog, which I really want to get better at posting on! My first post is my recipe for roasted cauliflower risotto.
I’ve wanted to start a cooking blog for a while now, but various things kept stopping me (lack of time, laziness, my ex thinking it was a dumb idea). But it’s ridiculous to let those things stop me from doing something free, fun and which lets me get more experience writing!
Golly I love pinterest. It means that I can be lying in bed, moderately hungover on a Sunday morning, see a delicious pasta recipe and realize that it would be the perfect hangover cure! Anything that consists of lemon, garlic, olive oil and parmesan is quality food.
Dinner tonight! It was a meat & potatoes kinda night….. except by meat, I mean grilled fake chicken, and by potatoes, I mean mashed potatoes with garlicky kale. Also there was roasted cauliflower and homemade (!) chocolate pudding for dessert! All the recipes are ones I have pinned lately, and I cannot emphasize enough how good it was. After dinner we totally went into a food coma in front of the tv.
Going Dutch
I made stamppot boerenkool. It’s typical Dutch food for the winter time; potatoes, kale and bacon all mashed together, with a puddle of gravy in the middle.
This sounds like all of my favourite things! I need to make a veg version of this.
Homemade minestrone to deal with this over-whelming case of the winter blahs I’m dealing with this weekend. Can February just be over now please? On the plus side, I totally made the recipe up as I went along and it was delish!
I made some waffles of insane greatness (from orangette!) for early Valentines Day. I’d love to say I made them for that boy I like but uh, nope. Just myself. I’m not great at being romantic.
I already pinned this, but it just looks so good I had to share it with y’all as well: beer macaroni and cheese!
You know it’s a good Saturday when your avocado is just the perfect amount of freshness. And with some lemon juice, pepper and sea salt, it’s the loveliest spread.
In other news, my standards for good Saturdays might be somewhat off.
Orange cauliflower looks like cheddar cheese popcorn, but tastes like regular cauliflower. Luckily I find cauliflower extremely delicious.
